Thing-a-Day 24 : Romance and pasta
No polymer clay blossoms for today. Why? Well, because I tried to make some this morning but it just didn't work out. This is how it is sometimes, the clay wouldn't shape the way I want it to. But, instead, I got to make this gorgeous romantic brooch, with a satin bow, beautiful vintage lace and my favorite vintage bead.
Also, I made carbonara spaghetti today - my favorite pasta. I used to love the ones they served at this amazing cozy-chic bistro in Brasov, called Bistro de l'Arte. But, after we moved here I started to cook them myself and I tried all kinds of variations of the original recipe. I love them all.
It's very possible that the main reason I like carbonara so much is that it's such a simple recipe - the essence of Italian cooking.So, let's get personal. What's you favorite dish?
